Heart & Sole Half Marathon/10K/5K
On Saturday, September 26th, the race will be starting and ending at the NEA Baptist Hospital. Runners will be excited for this USTAF certified 13.1, 10K, and 5K course with a mix of rolling hills and flat areas. The course will be well-marked and have volunteers and activity. Police will be present at highly traveled intersections and leading the 13.1 race.
Race Categories and Time Limits:
- Half-Marathon & 10K: Participants must sign up as runners. The half marathon has a 3 1/2 hour time limit (16 minutes/mile pace).
- 5K: Has walking and running categories. If you sign up as a Walker, you must walk the entire way. If you plan to jog or run, sign up as a Runner.
Important Dates:
- 10K & Half Marathon Runners: Last day to register for a guaranteed medal is August 14th.
- 5K Participants: Do not receive medals.
- All Participants: Last day to receive a t-shirt is September 11th.
Race Day Schedule (September 26th, 2026):
- Half-Marathon: 6:15 am Packet Pickup (out of County/State), 7:00 am Race Start
- 10K: 6:45 am Packet Pickup (out of County/State), 7:15 am Race Start
- 5K: 7:15 am Packet Pickup (out of County/State), 8:00 am Race Start
- All Participants: 8:30 am Brunch begins.
Cash Prizes:
- Half Marathon: 1st Place Overall (Male & Female) $250, 2nd Place Overall $150, 3rd Place Overall $50.
- 10K: 1st Place Overall (Male & Female) $100, 2nd Place Overall $75, 3rd Place Overall $50.
- Cash prizes must be picked up following the race.

The featured hotel is Courtyard by Marriott, directly across from NEA Baptist. The Heart & Sole room rate is $99 and includes fruit and granola bars.
