GravelMan Offenbach: Quick & Dirty
The GravelMan Offenbach offers two exciting formats: the Quick (Supersprint distance) and the Dirty (Sprint distance). The Dirty format also serves as the Hessenmeisterschaft (*) in Cross-Triathlon.

Registration
Registration opens on 28.11.2025.
(*) Participants with a valid DTU Startpass issued by the Hessischer Triathlonverband (HTV) who provide it during registration will compete in the special classification for the Hessian State Championship in Cross-Triathlon. Registration for this special classification must be completed by the official closing date of 27.08.2026. Late registrations cannot be included in the special classification.
All other participants will compete in their respective age group classifications.

Race Briefing
Approximately 10 days before the start, the official Race Briefing will be available here. It will provide all important information about the event and will also be sent via email to all registered participants. It complements and updates the official race announcement.

Start Document Collection

- Saturday (eve of the event): 16:00 - 18:00

Race Briefing
The race briefing will take place on the meadow in front of the transition area / before check-in (for all formats combined): 09:30
Bike Check-out
Expected from 12:30 to 14:00 upon presentation of the start number and return of the timing transponder. Bikes and items not collected from the transition zone by 14:30 will no longer be supervised by the organizer.
Swimming
The swimming course takes place in a 50m pool. Please note the DTU regulation regarding the use of a wetsuit (SpO § 21). The pool is usually heated (26-27 °C), but this may be relevant if the heating fails and the weather is very cold.
Cycling
The cycling course is located in the Offenbach city forest. Details can be found under 'Streckenpläne'.
- Quick format (Supersprint): One lap
- Dirty format (Sprint): Two laps
A helmet is mandatory on all distances, and the DTU-SpO (esp. § 69 – Special features in Cross-Triathlon) applies. Drafting is permitted on all distances.
In deviation from § 69.2 DTU-SpO, cross bikes / MTB / Gravel bikes with a tire width of min. 28 mm are permitted. However, a tire width of 35-40 mm is recommended for comfortable, fast, and safe completion of the various course sections.
Further deviating from § 70.1 DTU-SpO, gravel bikes with classic road bike handlebars are also permitted for participants of the Hessian Championships.
In any case: Ensure you are equipped and prepared with material (bike setup) that you feel comfortable, experienced, and safe with. You are welcome to familiarize yourself with the course beforehand, either physically on-site or virtually using videos of our course (to follow).
