10th Annual Stars and Strides 5k Run/Walk
Join us for the 10th annual 4th of July Stars and Strides 5k Run/Walk around the beautiful Grand Lake in Rockville, MN. Registration begins at 07:30 AM at the Grand Lake boat landing, where parking is available. The race begins promptly at 08:00 AM and will finish with refreshments at the Flag Raising ceremony at 09:00 AM. There is approximately a one-mile walk back to the Grand Lake boat landing where cars are parked.
Guaranteed Hoodie & Door Prizes: Those registered before June 26th are guaranteed to receive a hoodie and have the opportunity to win one of many door prizes!
Registration: You may sign up through July 2nd online or on the morning of the event. Please note that sign-ups on the morning of the event will have a price increase of $5.
Amenities: Parking is available at the Grand Lake boat landing. A port-a-potty is also available for use.
Event Details: Runners and walkers will begin at 08:00 AM. This is NOT a chip-timed event. There will be prizes for top finishers, and a chance for all participants to win door prizes!
Community Involvement: Those not participating in the event that live around the lake are encouraged to cheer on runners, play music, and decorate their driveways.
