Georgina Marathon & Half-Marathon 2026
The event takes place in Georgina, Ontario on September 13, 2026, with start and finish at De La Salle Park. Distances offered include:
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
The marathon, half marathon and 10 km are Athletics Canada certified courses; the marathon is a Boston qualifier. The 10 km certification number is ON-2023-001-BDC. All races run along the south shore of Lake Simcoe on Lake Drive North as an out-and-back route. The 5 km and half marathon follow one loop; the marathon is two loops. The course runs on quiet roads with shade and views along the lake.
Aid stations are located approximately every 2.5 to 3 km and provide water and an electrolyte drink. Strollers and dogs are not permitted due to course layout and insurance requirements. All finishers receive a custom Georgina Marathon T-shirt and a medal. Pace groups are provided for the marathon and half marathon.
Race kit pick up is available at advance locations and a VIP race day pick up option is offered. VIP parking passes are required for parking at De La Salle Park and select lots; free overflow parking is available at designated lots with shuttle service to the race area. Volunteer parking is provided near De La Salle Park.
