Fredericton Marathon - Home of the Boston Qualifying Race
The Fredericton Marathon is proud to be an official Boston qualifying race. The event is organized as an annual race weekend, the Stewart McKelvey Fredericton Marathon May Race Weekend. The 48th edition took place May 8-10, 2026, and the 2027 weekend is scheduled for May 7-9.

Event operations and services include a race schedule, race kit pick up, a health and wellness expo, directions and street closures, accommodation listings, sponsors, and merchandise. The Fredericton Marathon has also announced a community fund in partnership with the Fredericton Community Foundation to provide long-term support for local charitable causes.
