Formartine & Buchan Railway 12&6 Ultra
The event is a timed ultra run on the Formartine and Buchan railway line between Maud railway station and Auchnagatt village hall. Competitors aim to cover as much distance as they can within the event time limits.
12 hour event: cover as much distance as possible within 12 hours. A minimum distance of 26.3 miles is required to qualify for a medal and goodie bag.
6 hour event: cover as much distance as possible within 6 hours. 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes awarded.
