2026 Firecracker 5k Presented by Barnegat HS XC/Track & Field
Parking Instructions: All parking is located at Barnegat High School. After parking, walk up the hill to the track / turf field. T-shirts, Race Bibs, and Race Day Registration will be located under the pavilion next to the track / turf field starting at 7:00 AM on race day. Bathrooms are located on each side of the snack stand.
T-Shirts, Bib Pick Up, and Race Day Registration: T-shirt included with 5k registration only, if registered by 11:59 PM on Sunday, June 14th, 2026. T-shirts are adult sizes and will be available for pick-up on race day.
The 5k is a timed event. Runners, walkers, and/or strollers welcome. No pets allowed! Awards to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
Race Information:
- 8:15 AM - 400m Fun Run (kids 10 years and younger, one lap around the track, finisher ribbons to all runners).
- 8:25 AM - National Anthem
- 8:30 AM - Firecracker 5k
- 9:30 AM - Awards Ceremony (under the pavilion).
All money raised supports the Barnegat HS Cross Country and Track & Field teams!
