Fire Fest Ultra
Fire Fest Ultra sells out fast! Signup now to reserve your spot! This is a race you will NEVER forget! There are over 45,000 acres of amazing, beautiful trails and stunning gorgeous rock formations. You will see petroglyphs that were left hundreds of years ago by inhabitants of the area. Choose to either run Sat or Sun. You'll have a chance to see the night sky if you get out there early and especially if you camp!
You will have the option of choosing a 12/24hr, 100M, 100k, 50m, 50k, 17 mile (full course), Marathon, Half, 10k, 5k, or 1-mile kids' run! EARLY START times available for ultrarunners, 4AM.

Hot coffee and cocoa: Every race! Every morning!
Aid Station: We will have plenty of Gatorade, water, GU, salty snacks, food, and fruits for you. We will have hot food for the ultrarunners. Please email Heidi if you have any food requests! [email protected]
Packet Pickup: This will take place 45 minutes -1 hour prior to your start time at the staging area. Plan your early morning accordingly.

One hour north of Las Vegas (61 miles)
- From the I-15, take hwy 169 toward Logandale/Overton.
- Turn right on Liston Rd (right after small post office).
- Follow road to the right and cross the railroad track.
- Follow the road to the Logandale Trail System.
- Staging area/Start line will be on your right. Can't miss it!
HOT FOOD: For all of our runners, we will have hot coffee, chocolate, and tea! For longer distances, we will have casseroles, noodles, broth, burgers, dogs, breakfast pancakes, bacon, and various other hot foods. Vegetarian options available!
Cut off times
- 24/48hr has a 24/48hr cutoff
- 100M/100M relay and 100k is 35 hours
- 50M is 25 hours.
- 50k is 15 hours on Sat & 12 hours on Sunday
- *Note. There is not a 24/48H, 100M, 100M relay, 100k, or 50M on Sunday.
Virtual Runners
We think it is awesome that you are running with us even though you won't be here in person, but in spirit! If you would like your time added to our website, please email your official time into aubrey@tripledareruns, within a week of the race (i.e. Garmin). All virtual runners will be mailed a shirt and a medal within two weeks after the race. Thank you for running with us and keep up the hard work!
Camping
We LOVE camping! Make sure you get to Logandale Trail System early enough on Friday to find a spot before the locals do. There are no RV hookups available. If you can't find a spot, crash with us at the staging area (unfortunately, we won't be doing a whole lot of sleeping and we may be a little loud).
Medals and Awards
There will be a podium finish. When three deep male/female come in from a certain distance, we will announce the winners. The plaques are always hand made you by a local artist, and you will cherish your award and want to sleep with every night. All finishers will receive an awesome hand made medal that you will wear with pride!
Parking
Valley of Fire State Park charges $10 a car (local) $15 a car (out of state) for parking/per day. Please have cash with you on race day or pay at packet pick-up. There will also be overflow parking over a half mile before the main staging area on left. If you are running the 13.1m, 10k or 5k, more than likely you will be directed here.
Wildlife, plant life, and some history
The desert may look a little barren at first take, but there are bighorn sheep, desert tortoise, Black-tailed jackrabbit, skunk, antelope, coyote, bobcat, ect.. There are also many species of lizards and snakes that live in this desert oasis. Keep a lookout also for the various plant life. There are Yucca plants, Creosote, Desert Paintbriss, Prickly Pear cactus and ect.. Absolutely stunning so bring your camera! Also, just in the canyons is 'Mouse’s Tank’. It was named after an alleged Southern Paiute Indian renegade named ‘Little Mouse’ who hid out there in the 1890’s. He was accused of gunning down two prospectors and many other crimes. Mouse was never found but they believe they found his watering hole, 'Mouse's Tank'.

Refunds
If we are forced to cancel or postpone the event, runners will receive a transfer to any Triple Dare Running event. No refunds will be issued. No refunds 30 days prior to event.
