Ecomaratona del Barbaresco e del Tartufo Bianco d’Alba - Campionato Italiano 2026!
The 17th edition of the Ecomaratona del Barbaresco e del Tartufo Bianco d’Alba will be held on October 25, 2026, in Alba. This renowned race, known for its organizational excellence, includes a marathon (42 km), a half marathon (21 km), and a relay (42 km / 4 participants), plus a walking event. It has established itself nationally and attracts international participants.
This 2026 edition is particularly special as it introduces a new 50 km (or longer) course, which will serve as the official race for the Campionato Italiano Trail Running Lungo (Italian Long Trail Running Championship). More details will be available soon.
The event aims to be a significant sporting occasion that also promotes the region's wine, truffles, and its rich territorial, gastronomic, natural, and ecological heritage across the four Barbaresco municipalities: Alba, Barbaresco, Neive, and Treiso. Local entities are increasingly involved in its organization.
The routes are spectacular, passing through the Tanaro river park, Fenogliani trails, the Barbaresco hills with its panoramic tower, the ancient village of Neive, and the Rocche dei Sette Fratelli in Treiso. All starts and finishes are in the heart of Alba, at the foot of the Duomo. A high-quality "Piemonte in Tavola" lunch is served to all participants at the finish line.
