East End Road Runners Olympic Park 5K - ELVIS #4
This is a UKA licensed 5 km road race held on 23 June 2026 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Hopkins Field (near Waterden Road), about 400 m west of the Velopark. The event is the fourth leg of the 2026 East London V Interclub Series and accepts entrants from any running club as well as unaffiliated runners.
The course is a fast two lap route on paved paths in the north area of the park. Timing is chip based and provided by Krono Sports. Use of headphones is banned in line with England Athletics guidance, with the exception of bone conducting headphones.
Entries are required in advance; transfers and refunds are not permitted. Pricing includes an early bird rate ending 30 April and higher rates from 1 May, with a limited on the day price available. A certificate of course accuracy is held.
Facilities and arrangements include a water fountain for refilling runners' own bottles, toilets in the Velopark about 400 m east of the registration and start area, and space to leave bags at the owner’s risk. Transport notes list nearby Stratford International, Stratford, Hackney Wick and Leyton stations and several bus routes. Two multi storey car parks are nearby and there are Santander Cycles stations and bike racks close to the start.
Prizes total 14 awards based on gun time, covering overall and age category vets, with a maximum of one prize per person. Non binary times will be recorded but are not eligible for prizes under current UKA rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

- Race Time: Starts 7.30pm. Registration and number collection: between 6.30pm and 7.20pm.
- Location: Hopkins Field (near Waterden Road), QEOP, London, E20 3BS (about 400m west of the Velopark).
- Licence: Licensed by UKA with a certificate of course accuracy.
- Timing: Chip-timed by Krono Sports.
- Course: Fast 2-lap course on paved paths in the north area of the Park.
- Headphones: Banned as per England Athletics guidelines (exception: Bone-Conducting Headphones).
- Inclusiveness: Welcomes all entrants as female, male and non-binary. UKA rules currently state only male and female runners qualify for ranking, but non-binary times will be captured. Non-Binary runners are not eligible for prizes.
- Water: Water fountain provided for refilling runners' own bottles. No single-use plastic bottles provided.
- Toilets: Available in the Velopark (about 400m east of registration/start).
- Baggage: Bags can be left at owner’s risk near the registration area.
- Car Parking: Two multi-storey car parks nearby: Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Multi-Story Car Park (E15 2HB) and Stratford International Station Car Park (E20 1YY).
- Public Transport: Encouraged. Stratford International, Stratford, Hackney Wick, Leyton stations within a 20-minute walk. Bus routes 388, 97, 308, W15 stop within 10 minutes.
- Cycling: Five Santander Cycles stations within 5-minute walk. Bike racks available.
- Prizes: 14 prizes based on gun-time. 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall male and female; 1st male and female vet in age categories 40, 50, 60, 70. Maximum of one prize per person.
