Culzean Castle Trail Runs
Wild Deer Events returns to Culzean Castle and Country Park on 7 March 2027 for the third edition of its trail runs. The location is Culzean Castle, Maybole, KA19 8LE, an estate in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland that covers 642 acres of gardens, beaches, woodland and trails. The castle sits on the Ayrshire cliffs and was designed by Robert Adam in the late 18th century.
Event Distances
- 5km Trail Run (ages 11+)
- 10km Trail Run (ages 15+)
- Half Marathon Trail Run (ages 17+)

- Half Marathon – 9:45am
- 10km – 10:00am
- 5km – 10:00am
This event is Canicross friendly – we allow one controlled dog per runner. Live chip-timing is provided. All finishers will receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An event T-shirt can be purchased for £12.
Parking is £6 per vehicle. A parking pass includes access to the grounds for entrants and spectators.
