Comlara 12 Hour Sunrise-Sunset, 6 Hour, 3 Hour and Hour of Power Trail Run
Lake Run Club, established in 1982, is hosting a summer trail run competition. This event is part of the Lake Run Club's Trail Run Series.
12 Hour Sunrise to Sunset (Last Man/Woman Standing)
This ultra will be run as a last man/woman standing competition, potentially reaching 51 miles. The course is a 4.1-mile loop measured by Garmin GPS watch. Runners have exactly one hour to complete the loop. If a runner finishes in less than an hour, they can relax and refuel before the next start on the hour. Runners not back by the top of the hour will be out of the race. The competition continues for twelve hours, or until only one person remains. If multiple people complete the final lap, the fastest male and female will be declared winners, but all who finish the final loop before 7:00 PM will receive an award.
Summer Siesta 6 Hour Trail Run
Starting at 7:00 AM and concluding at 1:00 PM, this run follows the same format as the 12-hour event. Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers, as well as for those who complete the 6-hour run (25.5 miles).
Breakfast Club 3 Hour Trail Run
Starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 Noon, this event offers a 3-hour trail run. Runners must cover the distance before the stroke of the hour. Separate awards will be given to the overall male and female winners (12.75 miles).
Come as You Are 1 Hour Trail Run
This is a low-key, non-competitive option for those looking to enjoy nature for an hour or get an introduction to trail running. Registration is available throughout the day until 6:00 PM. Participants start on the hour. No awards, but all race amenities, including post-race food and drinks, will be available (4.25 miles).
Run Until I'm Done
Run the loop at your leisure without the pressure of completing it on the hour. The course is open for 12 hours, allowing you to complete as many loops as you wish with your own defined recovery time. A self-service loop counter will be available.
