Classique du Parc La Fontaine
Classique du Parc La Fontaine offers multiple race distances around the park pond with a light elevation of about 3 percent. The event is organized by Les Francs Amis de Montréal and the Club de ski de fond Montériski and holds a silver sanction from the provincial athletics federation.

Runner services included with registration: secured courses closed to traffic, timing mats at the 5 km and 10 km, kilometer markers, water stations on the 5 km and 10 km routes, outdoor toilets and changing rooms, bag check, on site first aid, free race photos via PixiSport and online results on Sportstats.
BIBTAG and logistics: the timing tag is affixed behind the bib and the bib must be worn on the outside of clothing for detection. No strollers, carts or baby joggers are allowed on the 10 km course. Streets surrounding the park will be closed to traffic and parking is available south of Sherbrooke Street. Public transit access via Sherbrooke metro plus a short walk is recommended.
Limits and certification: since 2024 capacity is set to 1500 runners for the 5 km, 1500 for the 10 km and 4000 overall. The 5 km and 10 km courses are certified QC-2022-024-LJL and QC-2022-025-LJL. Tickets and Registration
Inscriptions en ligne for 2026 are available. Registration closes October 13th at 8:30 AM. On-site registration is available on race day starting at 7:30 AM at "Robin des Bois" restaurant in Parc La Fontaine.
Prizes and Awards
Prize money for the top 3 men and women in the 5 km and 10 km Express. Medals for the top three in each age group for 1 km, 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km. Participation medals for all finishers.

Race Kit Pick-up
Pick up your bib on Friday, October 16th or Saturday, October 17th at Boutique Endurance (6579 St-Denis, Montréal) during store hours. Bibs will also be available on race day under the main tent at Parc La Fontaine starting at 7:00 AM.
Technical Information
- BIBTAG technology: chip is affixed behind the bib; wear bib on the outside of clothing.
- Elevation: Slight elevation (3%) for all 4 courses along the pond.
- Limits (since 2024): 1500 runners for the 5 km, 1500 for the 10 km, and 4000 overall.
