Chernisky Classic Event Details
Join us for the 11th Annual Chernisky Classic on Saturday, July 5, 2025. This family-friendly event includes an out-and-back 5K and 10K course on the Ghost Town Trail, recognized as the 2020 DCNR Trail of the Year. Participants can also enjoy a free Firecracker Race for children 8 and under.

Schedule
- 6:45 am - 9:00 am: Same-day packet pick-up and registration
- 9:05 am: Start of 5K and 10K for competitive runners
- 10:20 am: Firecracker Race for kids
100% of the proceeds benefit the Training Facility of the Cambria County Regional Firefighters Association. Cold water will be available at the start/finish line and on the trail, and restrooms are located at the Start/Finish Line.

Online Registration:
December 16 through February 2 - $16.00
February 3 through June 1 - $22.00
June 2 through July 2 - $28.00
Race Day Registration: $33.00 (ticket not guaranteed)
Discounts available for groups and firefighters. Paper registrations will not be available until June 2025. No refunds will be issued.
Timing & Results
All participants will be officially timed. Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K events.
