Centurion North Downs Way 50®
The NDW50 is a 50 mile point to point run along the North Downs Way National Trail from Farnham in Surrey to Knockholt Pound on the outskirts of Greater London. Total Climb: 5,600 feet. 16th Annual. The course reflects the first 50 miles of the NDW100. This event is the second race in the 50 Mile Grand Slam.
The race begins in Farnham at the western end of the North Downs, traveling past Puttenham and Guildford following the North Downs Way National Trail. The course then continues on to Ranmore Common before the steepest climb of the race up to the top of Box Hill. The trail then drops down the other side and back up Colley Hill, on through Merstham to Oxted and a further 8 miles to Knockholt Pound and the 50 mile finish.

General Info
Entries for 2027 open 1900 on Sunday 21st June 2026. All of the places for the event are available on a first come, first served basis, aside from an additional 40 that exist for 2026 volunteers. All entrants must meet the minimum qualification standard (completed a marathon distance race within the cut off time since 1st January 2021) in order to apply.
Runners must finish within the 13 hour time limit. There are additional cut offs along the route which are listed in the aid station plan.
Race HQ is at Farnham Leisure Centre, Dogflud Way, Farnham, GU9 7UD. The race itself starts at the trail head of the North Downs Way. Runners will commence the 5 minutes walk down to the race start, following the race briefing at the Leisure Centre.
The race finish is in the fields behind Knockholt Pound Village Hall.
