Calgary Police Classic: 46th Running
The Calgary Police Classic takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Cowboys Park. Formerly the Calgary Police Half Marathon, this event is presented as Calgary's only fall road half marathon and will mark its 46th running.
Participants may choose an in-person event on September 19 or a virtual experience from September 20 to October 18.
Races Offered:
- Kids Race for ages 2 to 12
- 8 km road race
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
In-person participants receive a long-sleeve technical shirt, a personalized bib if registered before the cutoff date on September 6, chip timing, results leaderboard, and awards for top finishers. Aid stations are provided every 3 km for the half marathon and every 4 km for the 8 km. The finish area includes food, drink and a post-race festival; professional race photos and on-course entertainment are provided. Free bag and bike check is available.
Finisher medals for the 8 km and 21.1 km are offered as an optional add-on; all Kids Race participants receive a medal. The half marathon has an age minimum of 14 years. Strollers are permitted in the 8 km and 21.1 km races. The event raises funds for the Calgary Police Youth Foundation and has raised $146,000 to date. 2025 course maps are shown for reference and are subject to change for 2026.
