Race Schedule:
- 5:00 pm: Race Day Registration opens
- 6:15 pm: Race Day Registration closes
- 6:30 pm: 5K (Night Race)
- 6:45 pm: 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk / Wheelchair
- 7:00 pm: 50-yard 'Tot Trot' (for kiddos 6 & under)
- 7:30 pm: Raffle
- 7:45 pm: Awards Ceremony
Race Details:
Starting at Nathan Dean Park in Rockmart, this scenic 5K utilizes the Silver Comet Trail with slight inclines along the river, and ends back at the park. Post-race activities include inflatables, food trucks, games, and music. A 1-mile Fun Run/Wheelchair Roll is also available for those not participating in the 5K. The event aims to raise money for Spinal Cord Injury Survivors.
Shirts will be provided for those who pre-register by September 1st. After September 1st, shirts cannot be guaranteed.
New entertainment features this year include a Mechanical Bull ride and a Photo Booth.

Course Information:
5K Race Course: An out-and-back route starting and finishing in Nathan Dean Park, utilizing the Silver Comet Trail with slight inclines along the river.
1 Mile Race Course: An out-and-back route starting and finishing in Nathan Dean Park, utilizing the Silver Comet Trail with slight inclines along the river.
Tot Trot Race Course: Approximately 50 yards for children ages 6 & under. Parents/Guardians may accompany their child.
Awards:
5K Awards: Top 3 Overall (Male & Female), Top Master (Male & Female), Top 3 in each age category (14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over).
The 1 Mile and Tot Trot are primarily for fun.
Timing and Results:
Professional Timing and Results provided by Wire2Wire Running, LLC.
Parking:
FREE parking available at Nathan Dean Park (Sports Complex 100 Industrial Dr., Rockmart, GA 30153).
Dogs & Strollers:
- 5K: Dogs are not permitted with runners.
- 1 Mile: Dogs on leashes are permitted.
Cancellation / Weather / Refunds:
The event will be held rain or shine. If cancellation is necessary due to conditions determined by event organizers and local authorities, no credits or refunds will be provided. Registered participants for the 5K/1M distances will be transferred to the rescheduled date.
