Course Information: A 50km ultra following a well-established long-distance path from Diss to Norwich on well-marked trails. The Boudicca Way follows a beautiful trail through historic South Norfolk Villages where Boudicca, The Queen of Iceni, once ruled, resisting the might of the Roman Empire. You will pass through places where history exudes from every pore, including ancient settlements like Saxlingham Nethergate, Shotesham, and Caistor Roman Town.
The path is well-marked and the running surface is generally good. Coupled with the excellent train links between the start and finish (the start is about 200 metres walk from Diss train station) and with a 10-hour time limit, this would definitely suit first-timers.
