Event Info
Join us for a fun, family-friendly event at Kansas City Kansas Community College! The Blue Devil 5K offers something for everyone—walkers, joggers, and runners of all paces are welcome. All 5K finishers will receive a finisher’s medal to celebrate their accomplishment! The Blue Devil 5K will be held rain or shine. However, the race director reserves the right to cancel the event if conditions are deemed unsafe. No refunds will be issued for any reason.
EVENT PARKING: Please use Parking Lot I for packet pickup and event parking. This is the big parking lot off of Delaware street by the Campus Childcare Center and the Credit Union. There are ample parking spots available for everyone. This area is still close to the Wellness & Fitness Center/Health Professions Building. Avoid Parking Lot H by the CEB Building, this lot is in the middle of our 5K route, and we discourage additional traffic in this area for the safety of all participants.

Awards
Awards will be given to the top overall male, and female finishers and age group awards will be given out to the top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-15. 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+
Packet Pickup
Packets may be picked up on Friday, May 1st, 2026, from 12pm-7pm at the Wellness and Fitness Center at Kansas City Kansas Community College at 7250 State Avenue in Kansas City, KS and on race morning at the race site beginning at 6:30am.
Day of Event Schedule
- 6:30am Race Day Registration Opens
- 7am - 7:59am Music & Warm-Up Festivities at Start Line
- 8am Start of Blue Devil 5k Fun Run/Walk
- 8:15am– 10:00am Finish Line Celebration (Complimentary All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast).
- 10:05am – 10:30am Awards Ceremony
- Pancake Breakfast - until 10:30am
