Black Mountains 50 & 32 Mile Ultra, Marathon & Half Marathon

Limitless Trails is excited to host Ultramarathons, a Marathon, and a Half Marathon in the beautiful Black Mountains, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The new event headquarters is Longtown Hall, HR2 0LD.
This event offers several distances, each presenting a unique challenge with stunning scenery:
- 50 miles / 80 km
- 32 miles / 50 km
- 27 miles / 43.4 km
- 13 miles / 21 km
All distances are self-navigation, tracked with full support. The courses are primarily trail (approx. 90% trail, 10% road/lanes) with significant elevation gains. Support includes tracking, chip timing, checkpoints, water stations, food provisions (hot food for ultra entrants, cold food for all distances), physio support, taping, back runners, and medical care.
Cut-off times and a mandatory kit list are enforced. GPX files and emergency route maps are provided. Support crews and spectators are welcome.
What to Expect:
- Registration and kit check available on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
- Drop bag zones at the start and halfway point for the 50-mile Ultra, and at the finish.
- Self-navigated experience with support from flags and signs in potentially confusing areas.
- Live tracking for participants, viewable by family and friends.
