About the Bergischer 6 Stunden Lauf
The Bergischer 6 Stunden Lauf is a unique running event where participants aim to cover as much distance as possible within a 6-hour timeframe. The race will be held in Remscheid, Germany, on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
How it works:
Simply run for 6 hours and see how far you can get! Shortly before the end of the 6 hours, take a marker corresponding to your start number from the table and carry it with you. When the 6 hours are up, a loud bang will sound, you stop immediately, and leave your marker at that spot. You can then return to the starting point. Helpers will measure the remaining meters using a calibrated measuring wheel. The award ceremony will take place 1.5 hours after the finish.
Winners do not receive special prizes. Small gifts will be raffled among all participants.
