About the Běh Zoo Ostrava pro saolu
The Běh Zoo Ostrava pro saolu is a charitable run for everyone, regardless of age or performance. It is not a race. The runs take place on routes within the beautiful natural area of Zoo Ostrava, the second largest zoo in the Czech Republic. The routes are 480m, 3km, and 6km long. Part of the route will again lead through the botanical park. The maximum number of participants is 1000.
Why participate in the Běh Zoo Ostrava pro saolu?
- You will run in Ostrava, but you will influence events on the other side of the world.
- The proceeds from the entry fee will be donated to support the non-profit organization Saola Foundation, specifically to support their research and conservation team in Laos. This team is currently deep in the jungle, systematically searching for traces – combining traditional knowledge of local communities with modern technologies.
