Barrie's KidsRun en CityRun
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Beringen will host the third edition of Barrie’s KidsRun and the brand new CityRun, promising a sporty and fun day for all ages.
Barrie's KidsRun
The KidsRun starts at 2:00 PM at BleyckPark (Blijkstraat 20), with different races for toddlers, lower primary, and upper primary school children.
- Toddlers: 650 meters
- 1st to 4th grade: 950 meters
- 5th to 6th grade: 1650 meters
All children receive a souvenir, and the fastest runners will be recognized on the podium. Register for the Barrie's KidsRun here.
CityRun
Starting at 4:00 PM from BleyckPark (Blijkstraat 20), the first-ever CityRun will take participants through the center of Beringen. Choose between 5 km or 10 km for a sporty and enjoyable experience. Refreshments will be provided along the route and at the finish line, with timing registration available. The top 3 male and female runners for each distance will be celebrated. Showers are available at the Spectrumcollege sports hall after your run. Register for the CityRun here.
Beringen Beach
After the runs, enjoy a summer city festival with music, food, and entertainment for all ages, as Beringen-centrum immerses itself in tropical vibes for three days. Discover the full program here!
