Baltimore Triathlon Festival
The 2025 Baltimore Triathlon Festival will take place in the scenic Hammerman Area of Gunpowder State Park. Join us for two days of exciting racing with the women's sprint triathlon on Saturday, and the men's sprint triathlon on Sunday. Come race with us and see why we're one of Maryland's most popular triathlons!
NEW this year will be a youth event on Saturday, prior to the start of the Women's Race! Have your youth triathlete, from 6 years old to 15 years old (Age as of Dec 31, 2025) come out for the 100 yard swim, 2.2 mile bike and 1/2 mile run, all within the confines of the park!
Race Schedule
- Saturday, October 4th, 2025 – Women’s Individual & Relay, Youth Triathlon prior to Women's Race
- Sunday, October 5th, 2025 – Men’s Individual, Non-Binary Individual, Relay, & Coed Relay
Registration Fees
The following entry fees are in place for the 2025 Baltimore Triathlon:
- 11/11 - 12/11: Individual $80, Relay $100
- 12/12 - 1/11: Individual $90, Relay $110
- 1/12 - 9/4: Individual $100, Relay $120
- 9/5 - 9/26: Individual $110, Relay $130
- 9/27 - 10/4: Individual $120, Relay $140
- ALL YOUTH FEES ARE $40
If you are not a member of USA Triathlon on race day, a One-Day License must be purchased.
Awards
Awards will be given out to athletes that place overall and in their age groups. There is no double-dipping. Top 3 Males, Females and Non-Binary Finishers Overall in Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquabike, Clydesdale Triathlon, Athena Triathlon. Top 3 Males and Females in age groups. Top male, female, and co-ed relay teams.
Packet Pickup
- Friday, October 3rd, 2025 from 2-6 PM
- Saturday, October 4th, 2025 from 6:05 AM to 7:45 AM (and 12 PM to 2 PM for Sunday participants)
- Sunday, October 5th, 2025 from 6:05 AM to 7:45 AM
Packets are available in the Athlete Village, located in the transition lot at Gunpowder State Park.
Rules
The Baltimore Triathlon is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned event, and adheres to all USAT rules and procedures.
Course Cutoffs
All cyclists MUST be off of the road by 10:00 AM. This gives sprint participants approximately 2 hours to complete the 750m swim, transition 1, and the 13.8 mile bike course (based on an 8:00 AM start).
