American Cancer Society Color Run
Join us for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life: Color 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Babcock Ranch. The event starts and finishes in Founder's Square.
Race Details
- Start Time: 8 a.m.
- Location: Founder's Square, 42850 Crescent Loop, Punta Gorda, FL 33982
- Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted and must start at the back of the start line.
5K Run/Walk Details
- Professionally chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing.
- No time cap.
- Cost: $40.00 (standard registration). Age-Based Pricing: $20.00 for 18 years old and under.
1-Mile Fun Run/Walk Details
- Not timed.
- You will not receive a bib for this event.
- Cost: $30.00 (standard registration). Age-Based Pricing: $20.00 for 18 years old and under.
Registration & Packet Pickup
- Early Packet Pickup: September 4, 2025, from 9 am - 5 pm at Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
- Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: 6:45 am to 7:45 am.
- Walk-in registrations are acceptable on the day of the race. Payment: Credit cards or Apple Pay only. Cash is not accepted.
Important Dates
- Shirt Cutoff Date: August 22, 2025. Register by this date to guarantee a shirt.
Awards
- In-person awards ceremony. Awards/shirts will NOT be shipped.
- Overall Awards: 1st Place Overall Male & Female, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+), Veteran Grand Masters (70+).
- Age Group Awards: Top 3 M/F finishers in each age category (9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+).
- Local running club discounts apply.
Race Support
- Post-race refreshments will be served.
- Water Stations: Located at the halfway mark and at the finish line.
- Rest Rooms: Located next to the Start Line.
- Parking: Free parking is available near Founder's Square.
