48. Stauseelauf des LAC Erdgas Chemnitz
The 48th Stauseelauf des LAC Erdgas Chemnitz is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the Stauseegelände Chemnitz-Oberrabenstein. The event offers a variety of distances for runners and walkers, set in the scenic Stauseegelände and predominantly the Rabensteiner Wald.
Race Details:
- Start & Finish: Stauseegelände Chemnitz-Oberrabenstein
- Course Profile: 90% terrain (paved forest paths), 10% asphalt, with varying elevation changes.
- Services: Computerized timing with transponders, shower facilities, free use of the lake, km markers on the course, refreshments, and food.
- Awards: Certificates for Bambini-Lauf and Walking participants. Medals and certificates for top finishers in various age groups for Jedermannslauf, 5 km, 10 km, and Half Marathon.
- Parking: Available at the lake (fee required).
- Number Pickup: On event day from 08:30 AM at the start/finish area.
- Award Ceremony: Starting at 12:30 PM.

From August 31, 2025:

- Jedermannslauf (2 km): 6 EUR
- 5 km: 14 EUR
- 10 km: 19 EUR
- Half Marathon (21.1 km): 25 EUR
- Walking (5 km): 8 EUR
Late Registration Fee: 5 EUR per participant.

Online registration deadline is September 4, 2026, at 16:00. Late registrations are possible up to 30 minutes before the start of each race.
