The Resolution Run: One Last Run on December 31, 2026 marks the 44th Annual Reeds Lake Resolution Run—a New Year’s Eve tradition in East Grand Rapids. This 4-mile course around Reeds Lake is USATF certified, offering runners a fast, accurate loop to close out 2026.
The main race begins at 2:00 PM, starting near East Grand Rapids Middle School and finishing in front of Collins Park. The Kids Race returns at 1:30 PM for ages 12 and under, featuring their own course and disco-ball medals waiting at the finish.
Since 1982, this event has been more than a race—it's a moment to show up and head into a new year with intention. Year after year, runners and walkers come out, no matter the weather, to keep this tradition alive and support Guiding Light Works.
