About the 2cities4run
The 2cities4run will take place in Busto Arsizio on Monday 8 March 2027. The event aims to unite two neighboring cities passionate about sports, offering a day of celebration, energy, and movement open to all. The main event starts from the E-Work Arena, a hub for sports in Busto Arsizio. The main race is a competitive 9.9 km, designed for athletes looking for a fast and engaging course. Alongside this, there's a non-competitive 9.9 km option for those who prefer to participate without the pressure of the clock, enjoying the pleasure of running or walking through the local territory.
The URBAN TRAIL is a new feature, blending trail running with the urban environment, and will traverse both cities for the first time, offering a mix of asphalt and nature. For families and younger participants, there is a 5 km Family Run, a simple and safe route designed to let everyone experience the excitement of a major sporting event. The start and finish will be at the E-Work Arena, where music, stands, and entertainment will accompany the entire day, transforming the run into a true celebration of sport.
By registering for the 2CITIES4RUN, you can make a difference by supporting the Fondazione Bianca Garavaglia. This official charity partner is dedicated to supporting research, care, and assistance in pediatric oncology. Since 1987, the Foundation has been implementing concrete projects for patients and their families, supporting specialized centers and high-value scientific initiatives. RUN. SUPPORT. GIVE HOPE.
The 2 cities 4 run is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to celebrate passion, community, and the bond between two cities, united by shared values of health, fun, and inclusion. In line with this objective, the scientific partner of the event will be the Humanitas Mater Domini hospital, which, on the occasion of Women's Day, will celebrate all participants, reminding them of the importance of breast cancer prevention. At the Humanitas-branded Flower Station, participants can receive a complimentary flower, a reminder that a small gesture of care—like prevention—can have great long-term value. Specialists from the Breast Unit will be available at the 2 CITIES 4 RUN Village to offer advice. Additionally, the Village will feature an area for blood pressure and oximetry checks, managed by hospital nursing staff and Humanitas University students, and a stand by Fondazione Humanitas for Research. Alongside them will be the women of Sorrisi in Rosa, a Humanitas project aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer prevention through the stories of patients who have experienced the disease.
An unmissable event for runners, families, and fans: we await you at the starting line!
