2026 Seeley Lions PreFat Bike Race
Join us for the 2026 Seeley Lions PreFat Bike Race, a premier mountain biking event held at the OO Trailhead in Seeley, Wisconsin. This event offers a variety of courses designed for all skill levels, from beginner to expert.
Race Details:
- Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
- Location: OO Trailhead, Seeley, WI (3 miles east of Seeley on County Highway “OO”)
- Registration Limit: 300 riders
- Registration Closes: Friday, August 21, 2026, at 9:00 pm
- No Race Day Registration.
Courses:
- 22 Mile EXPERT Race: 10:00 am start. A fast, technical, and physically challenging course for advanced riders (age 15+). Prizes for top 3 overall men and women, and age category awards.
- 17 Mile SPORT Race: 9:45 am start. A fast, less technical, yet challenging course for moderately skilled riders (age 13+). Age category awards.
- 12 Mile CITIZEN Race: 9:30 am start. A less technical, rolling course for beginner to moderately skilled riders. Separate Senior (17+) and Junior (13-16) divisions with age category awards.
- 3.5 Mile NEWBIE Race: 9:15 am start. A fun, less technical course for newer riders (age 10+). Includes ski trails and single track. Age classes 10, 11, 12, and 13+. Awards for top 3 male/female in classes 10, 11, 12.
CUB EVENT (Kids' Race):
- Time: Approximately 12:30 pm
- Eligibility: Ages 10 and under.
- Details: Free event (donations welcome). Register at the kids' tent on Saturday. Parents are welcome to ride along. Riders will complete the last 2k of the course. Not timed, fun-focused. Each rider receives a bike plate and token.
Important Notes:
- All bikes (mountain, fat, single-speed) race together. Class 1 Peddle Assist E-bikes allowed but not eligible for prizes. No Tandem bikes.
- Each registered participant receives a food and beverage ticket. Food and beverages available for non-racers at a nominal charge.
- Award times TBD.
- Race course maps available on RideWithGPS. Experts: your course has been slightly modified.
- Registered participants may change their event at bib pick-up or via their RunSignUp account before bib pick-up. No changes on race day.
- Registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable.

- Location: Sawmill Saloon, Highway 63 in Seeley, WI.
- Friday, August 21, 2026: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Race Day, August 22, 2026: 8:00 am – 9:45 am
