The CVC San Diego Triathlon & 5K is Event #2 in the prestigious San Diego Triathlon Series and part of the coveted Triple Crown of Triathlon. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned competitor, there’s a race here for everyone. Set against the calm, warm waters of San Diego Bay, this athlete-friendly race offers flat, fast courses, great for achieving your personal best—and even better for enjoying the beautiful coastal views while you’re at it. After your race, celebrate with friends and family in our on-the-water Seek Beer Co. - Beer & Margarita Garden and soak in those post-race vibes!
Race Options
- INTERNATIONAL TRIATHLON: 1,000 M swim - 38 K (23.3 mi) bike - 10K (6.2 mi) run. Ages 16 & over.
- SPRINT TRIATHLON: 500 M swim – 19K (11.6 mi) bike – 5K (3.1 mi) run. Ages 13 & over.
- SPRINT RELAY: 500 M swim - 19K (11.6 mi) bike - 5k run. Ages 13 & over.
- SPRINT DUATHLON: 1 mile run - 19K (11.6 mi) bike - 5k run. Ages 13 & over.
- SPRINT AQUABIKE: 500 M swim - 19K (11.6 mi) bike. Ages 13 & over.
- MINI TRIATHLON: 200 M swim – 9K (5.8 mi) bike – 2.4K (1.5 mi) run. Ages 11 & over.
- ITSY BITSY TRIATHLON: 100 M swim – 4K (2.3 mi) bike – 1.2K (.75 mi) run. Kids 7-10.
- Chula Vista 5K: 3.1 mi run.
