Welcome to the 14th Annual 5K Run for the Rescue! This exciting event will take place on September 14, 2024, starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 11:00 AM. The race will be held in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, and all proceeds will benefit the Jaffrey Firefighters Company Inc., a dedicated organization supporting the local fire department.
Event Details
Participants can choose between two course options: the Woods Trail, which features a mixed cross-country terrain, and the Rail Trail Only, a straight down and back route. Both courses are 5 kilometers long.
Registration Information
Pre-registration fees are $20 for adults (16+) and $10 for youth (9-16) for the Woods Trail. The Rail Trail Only option has the same pricing. Kids under 9 can participate for free. Day-of registration will be available at a higher fee.
What to Expect
On race day, participants can enjoy complimentary water and snacks, and there will be prizes for the top male and female finishers in various age groups. We encourage everyone to stay after the race for the awards ceremony.
Parking and Additional Information
Parking is available at the Community Field and Jaffrey-Rindge Middle School. Please remember to bring appropriate clothing and good running shoes. We advise against bringing pets due to the nature of the trails.
