About the race
The Zimmersmühlenlauf was first organized in 2006 by the Oberurseler Werkstätten with the goal of bringing people with and without disabilities together and fostering encounters. This sporting event was thus launched. The running route was quickly chosen, and it was decided to offer three different distances: Integrationslauf (1.5 km), Walking (3 km), and Hauptlauf (6 km).
