Yorkshire 3 Peaks 70/100km Ultra 2026
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks 70/100km Ultra is the 11th edition of an ultra-distance trail race based in Hawes, North Yorkshire. The event starts and finishes at Hawes Market House and follows the Cam Road, taking in the three classic peaks Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent. The main 70 km route has a total ascent of 2185 metres.
If a competitor completes the 70 km within the 14 hour elapsed race cut-off they may continue onto an optional +30 km extension over Great Shunner Fell. That extension adds 984 metres of ascent and makes the full course 100 km. Competitors attempting the 100 km have a 24 hour elapsed race time to finish for a Grand Slam qualifying time. The 100km Yorkshire 3 Peaks Ultra counts towards to Ranger Ultras 2023 Grand Slam Series.
The course is run over established trails, with generous cut off times. There will be Ranger Safety Team support at HQ, road head and hill top locations, with water, soft drinks and sweet and savoury snacks provided at road heads. Indoor hall floor resting is available on Saturday night for finishing racers (bring sleeping bag and mat if required). There is a tasty dinner and hot drinks for all racers at the finish and breakfast on Sunday morning. Racers receive finishers medals and there are place categories and fastest racer awards by age group. Course notes and a GPX file are emailed to entrants.
Entries are limited to 100 and minimum age is 20. Entries open 15 September 2025 and close 11 September 2026. Entry fees are listed as £68 affiliated and £70 unaffiliated.
