Wyoming Pure 5K Ranch Run
Join us at Wyoming Pure for a one-of-a-kind ranch 5K through the heart of southeastern Wyoming. The course begins at the Wyoming Pure building before winding through gravel roads, pasture trails, and working cattle ground. Along the way, you’ll pass cattle and horses, take in sweeping prairie views, and catch a glimpse of Laramie Peak rising in the distance. This course was designed to showcase the beauty of ranch life and Wyoming landscapes. Finish back at the ranch and enjoy the atmosphere of Saturdays at the Ranch with food, community, and fall fun waiting at the finish line.
The race begins at Wyoming Pure and you head West on Slater Rd. (paved) for about 3/4 of a mile, then head south on a dirt road for another 3/4 of a mile as you enjoy looking at the cattle and horses, head back West down a two-track road before you turn around and head back northeast through pasture land, and back down Slater Rd. to Wyoming Pure.
Proceeds from this race will benefit the Marge Cares Foundation and the Wheatland Cross Country Team (middle and high school). The Marge Cares Foundation was established in honor of Marge Wilson to support individuals who require travel for medical treatments.
All participants will receive a t-shirt (must be registered prior to September 15th) and a participant goodie bag. Children under the age of 12 will receive a $5 discount. There will be awards for the top three finishing males and top three finishing females, as well as door prizes that all participants are eligible for.
