Wooler Trail Marathon
The Wooler Trail Marathon is a challenging trail race set in the heart of Northumberland National Park on 14/11/2026. The course covers approximately 28.5 miles with significant ascent and descent, offering splendid views. The race has a maximum field of 300 runners and an overall cut-off time of 9.5 hours. The route is marked with tape and signs and supported by marshals at key points. Conditions in November can be variable, including boggy ground, frozen surfaces, and snow.

Checkpoints provide varying levels of support. Hot drinks are available at the Wooler YHA. Electronic timing, instant online results, and free event parking are included with entry. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and race memento, with prizes for top finishers in age categories.
