Wolfe Island Classic 5k & 10k
The Wolfe Island Classic takes place Sunday, July 5, 2026 on Wolfe Island, Ontario, with the finish in Marysville and the course centered around the Hotel Wolfe Island area.

The event is capped at 450 participants due to coordination with the ferry. 2026 registration is open with Early Bird, regular and late entry fees; KRRA members receive a $5 discount. The Kid's Mile fee is $10. Tech t-shirts are available for $25.
Participants can leave vehicles in Kingston and travel to Marysville by ferry. The finish line is in Marysville and participants may wade or swim after finishing. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic.
The Wolfe Island Classic is part of the KRRA Race Series; KRRA members earn points only for completing the 5K. The Kid's Mile is included in the Kingston Kids Running Series for ages 5 to 12. Early race kit pickup is available at the Canada Day Limestone Mile at the Kingston Memorial Centre. Lunch options from local vendors can be pre-purchased when registering. 2026 registration is OPEN. Don’t delay, due to the popularity of this event (in coordination with the ferry), this event will be capped at 450 participants.
Wolfe Island is the first, and largest, of the famous Thousand Islands. Besides being very scenic, it is a popular cycling destination and has wonderful views of the city of Kingston, Ontario, some of the other islands, and the American shoreline.
The Wolfe Island Classic is part of the KRRA Race Series. Members of KRRA earn points for completing the 5k Race, ONLY. The 5K race is also the second event in the “Waterside Series”, which also includes the Napanee Heritage and the Wooly Bully 10K on Amherst Island.
The Kid’s Mile Race is part of the KRRA’s KINGSTON KIDS RACE SERIES for 5yr olds to 12 yr olds.
The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic.
Early Race Kit Pickup – is available at the Canada Day Limestone Mile event being held at the Kingston Memorial Centre.
Schedule
- 7:30am – 9:30am : Kit pick up.
- 9:15am – Kiddie Fun Run (A 200-metre FREE race for 2- to 7-year olds).
- 9:30am – Kid’s MILE (1 mile ending at the same finish as the 5 & 10K races)
- 9:45am – Walkers
- 9:50am – Start of 10K Race.
- 10:00am – Start of 5K Race
Leave your car in Kingston
The Wolfe Island Ferry arrives right in Marysville. No more bus shuttling from the distant dock. Ferries leave Kingston at 5:40am, 7:00am and 8:20am, 9:40am (too late). Returning ferries from Wolfe Island to Kingston are at 11:40am, 1pm, 2:20pm.
Swimming
The finish line is in Marysville. You can wade/swim immediately after finishing your race.
