Williamson Park Charity Road Races
Williamson Park Charity Road Races take place on 2nd August 2026 at Williamson Park, LA1 1UX. The event is organised by Lancaster Races and supports Lancaster and Morecambe Lion's Club. All events start and finish near the Ashton Memorial.
There are three event distances:
- 1 km Family Fun Walk/Run inside the grounds of Williamson Park
- 10 km road race leaving the park
- Half marathon road race leaving the park
The 10 km and half marathon routes pass through the Lune Valley countryside and include elevated views across Morecambe Bay. The event holds UKA licences #28689 and #28545. Medals are provided to all fun run finishers and to participants in the 10 km and half marathon. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in the 10 km and half marathon, with additional veteran and spot prizes noted.

- Half Marathon: club athlete: £31, non club athlete: £33, Lancaster Runner's Club: £25

- 10.30 am: 1k Family Fun Walk/Run - inside the grounds of Williamson Park.
- 11.30am: 10k and Half Marathon leaving the park and exploring the beautiful Lune Valley countryside with views from elevation across Morecambe Bay.
