Whistler X Tri 2026
Whistler X Tri is an off-road triathlon held at Lost Lake Park in Whistler, British Columbia on September 19 and 20, 2026. The event combines a lake swim, mountain-bike sections on singletrack and a trail run.
The swim takes place in Lost Lake with a mass start. Mountain-bike sections use the Zappa trail network and are rated green and blue. The trail run follows singletrack through old growth forest and areas of fall colour.
Race formats include Sprint, Championship, Kids & Youth, and a Team Challenge relay. The Championship format is an official qualifier for the 2027 Multi Sports World Championship in Edmonton. Kids and youth races provide age based distances, finisher medals and a podium.
Distances
- Sprint: Swim 750 m, MTB 12.6 km, Run 5 km. Ages 16 and up.
- Championship: Swim 1500 m, MTB 25.2 km, Run 10 km. Qualifier for Worlds 2027.
- Team Challenge: Teams of 2 or 3 on the Championship course.
- Kids & Youth: Age based distances for ages 5 to 15, medals and podium.
