Wemdinger Stadtlauf 2026
The Wemdinger Stadtlauf will take place in Wemding on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Organized by TSV Wemding-LG Märchenwald / LG Donau-Ries, this event offers several running categories for participants of all ages.
Races, Start Times, and Fees:
- 15:00 Kinderlauf (Children's Run): Approx. 400m, for ages 2020 and younger. Fee: 5,00 EUR
- 15:30 Schülerlauf 1 (Pupil's Run 1): Approx. 800m, for ages 2017-2019. Fee: 5,00 EUR
- 15:30 Schülerlauf 2 (Pupil's Run 2): Approx. 800m, for ages 2014-2016. Fee: 5,00 EUR
- 16:00 Hauptlauf (Main Race): Approx. 6.5 km, for ages 2014 and older. Fee: 10,00 EUR
- 16:02 Walker: Approx. 6.5 km, for ages 2014 and older. Fee: 10,00 EUR
Online registration is open until September 10, 2026. Late registration is possible on the day of the event until 30 minutes before the start, with an additional fee of 2,00 EUR.
Start/Finish/Course:
The start and finish are located in the town center at the market square. The courses are circular routes through and around the old town of Wemding.
Awards and Recognition:
Medals will be awarded to all participants of the Kinderlauf and Schülerläufe. The main race and walker categories will have award ceremonies for the top 3 male and female finishers, as well as age group winners. Special awards will be given to the top 3 teams with the most finishers.
Logistics:
Parking: Available at the Johannisweiher parking lot (access via Wolferstädter Straße).
Showers: Located at the Stadthalle Wemding, Polsinger Weg 5.
First Aid: Medical services will be stationed at the market square.
