We Love Teachers 5K - Nashville
We Love Teachers Worldwide presents a nationwide movement on October 10th, 2026, with 10 in-person races across the U.S., including Nashville. This event aims to celebrate educators, strengthen communities, and encourage healthy lifestyles. Your participation contributes to a national goal of 100,000 miles walked or run for educators.
The Nashville event will be held at Two Rivers Park. Participants can dedicate their run to a specific teacher, who will receive a personal digital certificate of appreciation. There is also a school challenge to compete on the National School Spirit Leaderboard.

Awards and Competition:
Award categories include Overall Male and Female, Top 3 Male and Female in various age groups (14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+). New awards for this year include Most School Spirit, Fastest Teacher (Male & Female), Team Champion, and Legacy Award (Best Parent-Child Duo Time). There will be music, food, and prizes.
Race Day Schedule:
- 7:00-7:55 AM: Registration/Packet Pickup
- 7:45 AM: Opening Ceremony & Warm up
- 8:00 AM: Race Start
- 8:45 AM: Award Ceremony
- 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Race Celebration
