Wakefield Hospice 10K 2027
The Wakefield Hospice 10K returns on Sunday 14th March 2027 (09:00 start), one of the region’s most loved and long-standing running events. Each year, runners of all abilities come together to support the incredible work of Wakefield Hospice.
This year marks the 30th anniversary, with a special commemorative entry option. Choose our symbolic £30 entry fee to celebrate the occasion and help us raise even more to provide vital hospice care for those who need it most.

Important information
- Refunds are available up to 28 days before the event. Transfers close 3 weeks prior, and refunds cannot be processed after this time.
- The race distance is 10 km on a flat, one-lap road course.
- The event is licensed and listed as suitable for wheelchairs.
- Entry limit: 2,750 places.
Facilities at Race HQ in Thornes Park include: water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing areas, and baggage storage. On the day, there will also be food and drink, physio, commentary, prize giving, and medical services.
