Vilantický běh - 12th Annual Race
The Vilantice Volunteer Firefighters warmly invite you to the 12th annual Vilantický cross-country run.
Event Schedule:

Race Information:
Children's Categories: Starting at 2 PM, there will be 2 children's races for ages up to 14. The routes are shorter, running around the pond and the orchard. The first race covers the orchard and returns to the finish. The second race involves running around the orchard twice.
Main Race (Adults): Starts at 4 PM. The start and finish line will be at the community kiosk. The route is approximately 6.3 km, leading through asphalt roads, field paths, and trails, with ascents and descents. The exact route will be marked with flags and arrows. A support vehicle will follow the last runner.
Special Obstacle (Adult Men): A unique challenge for adult men involves drinking a beer (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) before the finish line near the pond. Those who decline the drink will complete an additional 500m penalty loop around the orchard.
Important Notes:
- Participation is at your own risk.
- A trained medical professional will be present at the finish line.
- For children under 18, a signature from a responsible person is required during registration.
Entry Fees:
- Adults (15+): 100 Kč
- Children (under 15): Free
Refreshments & Entertainment:
Enjoy roasted pig, beer, wine, soft drinks, and more. DJ Brácha will provide music and entertainment.

About the Race:
The Vilantický běh was initiated by Honza Panocha, a local teacher and sportsman. The first trial run took place in 2013. The event has since grown, incorporating children's categories due to high demand, confirming its popularity even in a small village. The race was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.
