At the swim start on the shores of the Louisenbad, you will glimpse the majestic Schlei and the venerable Haithabu, a sight that will inspire your souls.
Unleash your inner strength as you shed your wetsuits and mount your bikes. The winding route will challenge you, but on the mighty highway, the B76, you can unleash your power and set new records, with the gods of the wind cheering you on.
The subsequent run will lead you past Gottorf Castle and through the magnificent Baroque garden. You will conquer the course three times, and with every step, the sound of the finish area and the roaring atmosphere will echo in your ears. With proud hearts, you will break the finish line after approximately 21 km!
Why Viking?
Schleswig, on the edge of our city, was once an important trading center of the North, and the traces of the Vikings still shape our land. UNESCO has recognized this place as a World Heritage site, and thus, your journey will be accompanied by Viking spirits. Your senses will be filled with their presence, and the legends of Haithabu will turn you into true Viking warriors!
