Vancouver Pride Run & Walk
The Vancouver Pride Run & Walk is an annual running and walking event for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, friends, and allies, hosted by Vancouver Frontrunners, founded in 1983. The 2026 event is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Stanley Park, with start and finish adjacent to Ceperley Park near Second Beach.
Held in the days leading up to the city's annual Pride celebrations, the event offers opportunities to run, walk, or support participants on either of two course options. The shared route includes sections along the English Bay seawall toward Burrard Bridge and areas near Coal Harbour, HMCS Discovery, and Lost Lagoon. The 10 km course circles Stanley Park clockwise, is a certified distance, and is sanctioned by BC Athletics as a qualifying race. The 5 km course runs toward Burrard Bridge and back along the seawall.
The event draws participants from across Metro Vancouver and beyond. In 2025 about 1,000 people registered and participants and supporters donated more than $20,000 to 2SLGBTQIA+ charities including ARC Foundation, Out in Schools, and Rainbow Refugee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
