Val Luretta Trail 2026
The 4th edition of the Val Luretta Trail will take place on August 30, 2026, in Piozzano, Italy. This year, the event will feature two main race distances: 15 km and 26 km. The popular 44 km race will not be held, allowing organizers to focus on optimizing the participant experience for the shorter distances.
The 26 km race offers 1100m of elevation gain, while the 15 km race, which also serves as a trekking option, has 400m of elevation gain. Both the 15km and trekking courses follow a similar path through the Vallescura area.
Participants can expect a pasta party and a finisher's medal. The 26 km course will have three aid stations, and the 15 km course will have one aid station. The race package includes a bottle of Colli Piacentini Gutturnio Bongiorni wine.
The event celebrates the lands of the European Path of San Colombano and the historical significance of the Castello di Monticello.
