Ultramaraton Zapomenuté hory 2026
The Ultramaraton Zapomenuté hory will take place in Uhelná on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The race center is located at Tábor v Račím údolí - Uhelná 126. Parking for participants and support will be free in the vicinity of the area.
Routes
The routes will lead through deep valleys and remote ridges of the Rychleby Mountains. The short route (26 km) runs only on the Czech side, offering a taste of running on abandoned narrow border paths and old mountain meadows. The medium (46 km) and long (76 km) routes will also take you to the highest peak of the adjacent Bialskie Mountains in Poland. The 76 km route is designed to reveal the true pearls of the Rychleby, offering an experience of true wilderness.
The main running highlight of all routes will be many tens of kilometers (depending on the chosen route) on perfect mountain trails on the main border and side ridges of the Rychleby Mountains. Routes are chosen to lead to beautiful views from abandoned rocks, abandoned quarries, deep ancient forests, and unique mountain meadows in the places of former Sudeten mountain settlements. The race aims to be very runnable, challenging for experienced runners, and above all fun and scenic, with a maximum of forest trails and paths, with the rest on forest roads. Asphalt is practically not encountered except for a very short section after the start and before the finish.
Routes may change slightly.
Registration
Registration will be launched in two waves. Registration cannot be returned. If participants change their route to a shorter one, the organizer does not refund the difference in the start fee. Therefore, it is better to buy the route you want to run directly.
Runners on the 26, 46, and 76 km routes will be divided into 2 age categories: Up to 39 years old and 40 years and older.
In case of force majeure, the start fee is non-refundable.

There are no medals for Zapomenuté hory.

Please pick up your start packages on Friday evening to avoid long queues on Saturday morning.
