Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Greater Augusta, GA
This event is dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of first responders, veterans, and their families, in memory of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who died on September 11, 2001. The Foundation supports those who make extraordinary sacrifices. This is the 9th year for the event in Greater Augusta, bringing the community together to honor heroes and raise funds.
Event Details:
- Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
- Activity: Run or walk
- Registration: Available on race day starting at 7 am. Online registration is recommended to save money and guarantee a shirt. Late registrants may not receive a shirt or size guarantee. Online registration closes at the start of the run.
- Packet Pickup: Available on race day and potentially on Friday, September 5th, from 3 pm – 6 pm at Fleet Feet (229 Fury’s Ferry Road #107 Augusta, GA 30907) - confirmation pending.
- Bib Number: Must be worn on the front of your outermost garment.
- Awards: Based on firefighters, police, or military running in gear. The event is currently not timed.
- Refreshments: Water stations will be available along the route and at the finish line.
- Permitted Items: Strollers, wheelchairs, firefighter turnout gear, and military backpacks are permitted. Please leave personal items and valuables in your vehicle at your own risk.
- Donations: Accepted online for 6 weeks after the event. Sponsorship opportunities are available by emailing [email protected]. Goods or services donations can also be arranged. - Refunds: No refunds are provided. Registration may be transferred.

- Receipts: Automatic receipts are provided for online registrations. Credit card or check payments serve as receipts. Cash receipts are available upon request.
- Fundraising Incentives: Available, with fundraising completion by October 31, 2025, to qualify.
