Triatlon Klein-Brabant
The Triatlon Klein-Brabant will take place in Bornem on Saturday 4 July 2026. This event features a 1/4e distance triathlon, including a 1000m swim, a 40km bike ride, and a 10km run.
Important Notes:
- Wetsuits are mandatory for the swimming portion.
- The race will be conducted in a drafting format, meaning cyclists can ride in each other's slipstream. Time trial bikes with aero bars are not permitted; only standard road bikes are allowed.
Event Schedule & Location:
- Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
- Swim Start: Wipkaai, Wintam (after picking up start numbers at Park Hingene). Start time is 13:00.
- Bike Course: Through and around Hingene.
- Run Course: Starts and ends at Park Hingene.
Participants: Open to recreational athletes from Klein-Brabant and surrounding areas, as well as licensed athletes from Triatlon Vlaanderen.
Training Opportunity: A 'Crash Course Crawl' (6 lessons over 3 weeks) is available for participants to improve their swimming skills. Only 10 spots available.
