Tri Pike 2026
Get ready to enjoy Pikeville in a unique way! This sprint distance triathlon will have you swimming at our local YMCA pool, followed by a scenic bike ride through Historical Downtown Pikeville, and finish off by running through the Epic Blue Chip Trail! This year we are adding team relays and aquathlon divisions (swim/run). We encourage both beginners and seasoned triathletes to give this a try!

Pool Swim - 300 meters
Bike - 20 kilometers or 12 miles
Trail Run - 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles - Duathlon
Track Run - 1.6 kilometers or 1 mile
Bike - 20 kilometers or 12 miles
Trail Run - 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles - Aquabike (Swim-Bike)
Pool Swim - 300 meters
Bike - 20 kilometers or 12 miles - Aquathlon (Swim-Run)

THIS IS A USA TRIATHLON EVENT. PARTICIPANTS MUST GET A ONE DAY LICENCE. HELMETS MUST BE WORN ON BIKE COURSE. FOR THE COMPLETE RULES PLEASE VISIT https://www.usatriathlon.org/multisport/rules THE EVENT WILL HAVE THE ADDITIONAL RULE OF NO PASSING WHEN GOING DOWN THE BOB AMOS HILL . IT IS A SAFETY PRECAUTION. THE RACE IS OPEN TO TRAFFIC. TRAFFIC LAWS ARE TO BE FOLLOWED WHILE ON BIKE SECTION OF THE RACE.
PACKET PICKUP & LATE REGISTRATION

Location: Arrive at site Saturday no than 7 AM EST for ample time for parking, packet pickup and getting ready for event starting promptly at 8 AM EST.
- Friday, Sep 4th - 5 PM - 7:00 PM at race site
- Saturday - Race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM - at race site. Registration is open race morning!
Awards Ceremony
will follow each events completion
Awards will be for first overall male and female. We will not ship them out, so please check with us before you leave.
PARKING:
At the YMCA Parking lot and there also are parking lots by the track and tennis courts.
Event Cancellation / Modification Policy
If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows: City of Pikeville in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between City of Pikeville and local officials
Financial: It is not financially feasible for City of Pikeville to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event. City of Pikeville does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.
