Treherne Run for the Hills and Pinker-TEN
Treherne Run for the Hills is a road race event held in the rolling hills of rural Manitoba. The marathon course is listed as an official Boston qualifier. The event is scheduled for September 20, 2026.
The weekend program includes a road race series and a separate trail event called the Pinker-TEN. Both events are sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners' Association and are part of the MRA Classic and Celebration Series.
The organizing body operates as a non-profit. Past editions received support from local businesses and volunteers in the form of financial donations, equipment use, professional services, food, water, and volunteer time. Proceeds are described as returning to the local community.
Event features noted by the organizers include finisher medals and distance awards, participant shirt designs, and a new school cross-country banner that allows student teams to score points by category. A promo code option is available to purchase as a gift for registration; the gift recipient can choose a race but the purchaser cannot select the full marathon on their behalf.
